Nine years in financial security architecture roles in Chicago before co-founding Cryptrig in 2022. Ran cryptographic infrastructure for payment clearing operations tied to Fedwire and ACH settlement. Holds a Ph.D. in applied cryptography from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Leads technical evaluations and CEO briefings for institutional customers.
Maya Osei
CTO & Co-Founder
FPGA hardware architect with eight years building tamper-resistant cryptographic hardware before co-founding Cryptrig. Designed CQ1's Number Theoretic Transform pipeline and the physical security boundary architecture targeted at FIPS 140-3 Level 3. Author of the CQ1 Security Policy documentation submitted to NVLAP testing.
Daniel Pryce
Head of Hardware Engineering
Hardware security engineer with prior experience in PKCS#11 driver development and PCIe host adapter design for cryptographic accelerators. Leads CQ1's hardware bring-up, interface compliance testing, and the integration engineering program for evaluation customers.
Sarah Nkurunziza
Director of Financial Partnerships
Worked for seven years in financial technology partnerships and regulatory compliance at early-stage infrastructure companies before joining Cryptrig. Manages institutional evaluation engagements, regulatory coordination, and the FIPS 140-3 CMVP lab relationship. Led Cryptrig's angel funding round in early 2026.
